Overview

Sebastian Ritz has been working as a trainee lawyer at ZÜGERLAW since 2026. He supports the team in handling domestic and international cases, conducts legal research, drafts legal documents, and assists in the preparation of complex transactions.

Before joining ZÜGERLAW, Sebastian gained valuable practical experience as a trainee lawyer at a leading international corporate law firm, where he focused on banking & finance, M&A, and real estate transactions. During his studies, he also completed internships at leading commercial law firms in Zurich and at a district court in the canton of St. Gallen. In parallel, he worked for several years as a junior analyst at a Zurich-based investment boutique specializing in alternative investments.

Sebastian studied law and economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he consistently achieved very good academic results. Alongside his legal career, he has been an active member of the volunteer fire department in Valais for several years and enjoys playing soccer in his free time.
